Craig Crossed the Line With Weigh-in Smooch: But Gets the Win at CJI

Craig Jones may have crossed the line by grabbing Gabi Garcia for a sneaky weigh-in kiss, but that didn't stop him from winning his intergender match against her at CJI to be crowned the 'World's First Jiu Jitsu Intergender Champion.'

The match may have been closer to WWE than ADCC, but we're glad to see grapplers get a proper payday 🤑.

Howie Booth Removed From UFC 305 Judging for Terrible Scoring

UFC 305 Judge Howie Booth was quietly removed from judging after scoring all three rounds of Rozenstruik vs Tuivasa in favor of Tuivasa. The win went the right way, as a split decision, but Booth's poor judging has led to calls to see him removed permanently.

And Still... Du Plessis Subs Adesanya at UFC 305

Dricus Du Plessis subbed Israel Adesanya in the fourth round at UFC 305 in Perth, Australia. A slick takedown, back take, and RNC earned him the win and retained the UFC Middleweight Champion and a position in the P4P Top 10. After the fight, Du Plessis said, "I came in here to die for this belt or take a life. Luckily, I didn't have to do either."

He can't rest for long, though; Sean Strickland is hoping for a rematch and another shot at the belt himself.

Mikey Musumeci Speaks Out Against Steroids in BJJ

Some may tacitly accept steroid use in BJJ, but not Mikey Musumeci. In the run-up to his ONE FC title bout against Kade Ruotolo, Musumeci spoke at length about PEDs, calling them "morally and ethically wrong" and pointing out that he's winning without them. "But in our sport, ‘Oh, everyone’s on it. It doesn’t matter.’ So I feel like I’m in the position where I’m able to show, yes, there are people on steroids, but not everyone’s on it, and they’re losing to me."

Let's face it: BJJ nerds are scary.

Jake Paul and Mike Tyson Get Physical at Heated Presser

The face-off between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson got heated as Tyson gave off clear "you're a joke" vibes. The rest of the press conference didn't disappoint either, with Paul living up to his heel reputation and telling New York locals exactly what he thinks. "Hey, New York, you're just like Mike Tyson. You were good 20 years ago. F*** you, New York. F*** you."
