Mayweather Fires Referee Mid-Bout

Floyd Mayweather fired a referee in the middle of his match against John Gotti III. The referee called a shot to the back of the head illegal, and Mayweather, unhappy with that ruling, called for the ref to be replaced. Sadly, that staffing change was the most exciting part of the whole match.

Ronda Rousey "Not Neurologically Fit" For MMA Comeback

Ronda Rousey spoke about her retirement from WWE and UFC on the INSIGHT Podcast. She has no plans to return to MMA because she is "not neurologically fit to compete at the highest levels." She told Chris Van Vliet that she had gotten to the point that she "couldn't take a jab without having concussion symptoms." 

Darren Stewart Announces Retirement

Former UFC and Cage Warriors fighter Darren Stewart announced his retirement on Instagram, saying, "It hurts me to write this but I think it’s time to call it a day. Not by choice but I’m forced too because I’ve lost a lot to this game trying to survive and I can’t do it no more." 

Borralho Secures Unanimous Decision Against Cannonier

Caio Borralho secured a unanimous decision against Jared Cannonier in the main event of UFC 96. He's now calling for Israel Adesanya, with his sights set on a title shot.

Ngannou on Jake Paul: Tyson Will Still Beat His A**

Francis Ngannou claims that "people don't understand" Tyson's power. The fighter, who trained with Tyson in the run-up to his professional boxing debut, believes the 58-year-old still has enough in the tank to beat Paul. In fact, he thinks "Tyson will still beat his a**".

Friendly trash talk is one thing, but O'Malley crossed a line with Dvalishvili when he asked, "Are all Georgians runts?"  Dvalishvili replied, "You want to disrespect me - this is one thing - we will be professional and settle it in the cage ... but now you and your coach crossed the line and disrespected my country. You will pay for this when I see you outside of the cage.”
