Alexander Munoz has announced plans to step away from MMA at 34. He confirmed his retirement on his Instagram page, saying he was "immensely grateful" but highlighting his recent string of injuries, including multiple knee reconstructions, a torn shoulder, a torn lat, and more!

Munoz said, “I want to give the next guy his chance while I still have the ability to enjoy a healthy future with my family."

Chris Duncan Nets "Life-changing Bonus" at UFC Paris

Upcoming Scottish fighter Chris "The Problem" Duncan put on a strong performance at UFC Paris, earning a $50,000 bonus for subbing Bolaji Oki within four minutes of the first round. Duncan choked Oki unconscious, earning a late stoppage as the referee failed to notice his opponent was out.

Alex Pereira Wants to Be Face of Dana White's Boxing Partnership

Speaking to Kevin Iole, UFC LHW Champ Alex Pereira confirmed plans to move to professional boxing with Dana White. He said, "Honestly, man, I feel very good about this partnership." The deal isn't signed yet, but Pereira is convinced that the new promotion "is going to start with him."

Umar Nurmagomedov to Headline ADXC in Abu Dhabi

Nurmagomedov is next in line to fight for the UFC Bantamweight Title, but he's showing no desire to protect his undefeated streak. He's agreed to headline ADXC 6 in Abu Dhabi on October 25th, the day before UFC 308. He'll be facing 2-time Bellator champ Eduardo Dantas.

This weekend at UFC 307 will see Kayla Harrison vs Ketlen Vieira and Raquel Pennington vs Julianna Peña. As the fighters play a game of call-out chess, with Harrison looking for a title shot and Peña aiming to call out Amanda Nunes, Harrison wasted no time sharing her thoughts with SHAK MMA: "She's trying to avoid the inevitable [...] she’s had two years off, coming off a loss now she’s gonna get her fight for the title. Sean Strickland Reignites Feud With David Goggins

The Strickland/Goggins feud appeared to have died down over the last few months, but the influencer is once again back in Strickland's sights. Speaking to The Schmo, Sean was quick to say that he doesn't think the former Navy SEAL is as 'hard' as he claims. "You don’t know what hard is. You’re an influencer.
